About Steven Crainford

I am a fine art photographer based in Toronto, Canada. I photograph in a broad range of styles - from classic realistic all the way to pure abstract. The primary form of output for my images is the fine art print - both on paper and canvas.

My work has been purchased for many private and corporate collections and recently one was bought for the art collection of the City of Toronto.

I am represented by several local art consultants, the art sales program of the Burlington Art Centre and, in the USA, by Stillwood Galleries.

For much of my work I try to follow Minor White's dictum: "One should photograph something for what it is and for what else it is."
